Many marine ecosystems are at the point of collapse and will be destroyed unless we act quickly to protect them from the most serious threats.
For centuries, the oceans have been considered an inexhaustible resource from which people could take as much as they wanted. Now, we are having to face the fact that our oceans are not limitless.Overfishing is seriously depleting tuna stocks and destructive fishing practices are killing other valuable marine life. Meanwhile, Pacific Island countries are being exploited for their resources.

if you don't under stand that there is a big problem with drift nets. They are killing other marine life.
